< Return To Overview About Dr. Stephen Chen Dr. Stephen Chen is founder, President and CEO of STC International, Inc., a holding company in East Brunswick, New Jersey, specializing in health care business with a focus on the U.S. and Asia-Pacific markets. He is very active in facilitating international research, development, and commercialization cooperation among China, Taiwan, and the United States. Dr. Chen has over twenty-five years of experience in the U.S. pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and nutraceutical industries. Currently, Dr. Chen also serves on the Board of Directors of Amarillo Biosciences, Inc. in Amarillo, Texas. Dr. Chen has held senior executive positions with four major U.S. pharmaceutical companies and has demonstrated proficiency in pharmaceutical development, clinical evaluations, regulatory affairs, marketing, licensing, and mergers/acquisitions, both domestically and internationally. Dr. Chen has extensive experience in the development and commercialization of novel drug delivery systems in various dosage forms. For his Ph.D. research, Dr. Chen used liposome as the delivery system for anti-cancer drugs and was awarded a Ph.D. from Purdue University in 1977.
